Chiragh Baloch

Published November 26, 2019

EVERYONE wants to make their parents proud and I think this one man from Balochistan, Chiragh Baloch, a youtuber is on his way to making his family and the country proud.

He has broken down barriers to achieve what he wants. If you haven’t seen his videos, I suggest you get cracking.

In the media, Balochistan is generally looked down upon as a dangerous and inaccessible area. Chiragh is using YouTube and other social media websites to show another side of the province – the people, land and its culture.

Originally from Pasni, Chiragh started his journey by making short and funny videos, which he used to upload on his Facebook page. He also made vine videos and later moved on to YouTube and vlogging. Now, he has regular viewers who wait for new episodes of “The Chiragh Baloch Show”. The show’s concept is to bring forward prominent and young Baloch artists, singers and actors to showcase their talent and provide them with a platform.

I think he’s doing a great job. I hope more young people will follow his footsteps.
