QUETTA: Various political parties and students’ organisations on Monday continued their protest against harassment scandal in the Balochistan University.

A large number of students of different organisations gathered in front of the Balochistan University’s main gate carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-vice chancellor slogans. The protesting students chanted slogans against the university administration and demanded that an FIR should be registered against elements involved in the harassment scandal.

Traffic on the Sariab road remained suspended for several hours due to a protest rally as the protesting students blocked the road by putting barricades and hurdles on it.
