NAROWAL: A gang kidnapped an infant for ransom and took away cash and other valuables from a house at Mumtaz Colony on Friday.

Four armed men wearing veil entered Muhammad Akram Goraya’s house around 10am and held up the women. They beat the members of the family and looted six tola gold and Rs50,000 cash. They took away Goraya’s granddaughter Samaya Haroon and late demanded ransom from the family.

A police team visited the house on complaint and started investigation.
