BAHAWALPUR, July 13: At least 13 people, who suffered injuries in Ghotki trains’ collision, were brought to the Bahawal Victoria Hospital on Wednesday. According to hospital sources, ten of the patients were discharged after first aid while three were admitted in critical condition. They were Zahid, Kashif and Javeria. Earlier, the district administration declared an emergency at the hospital to provide medical aid to the seriously-injured passengers.

The hospital administration was directed to be on the alert and keep at least 100 beds vacant.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Two injured were brought to the Shaikh Zayed Hospital.

A child with minor wounds was discharged from outdoor service after first-aid treatment while a serviceman was admitted to the hospital with a fractured finger.

SZH emergency in-charge Dr Nadeem said people were donating blood, money and other goods for the affected people. He said doctors had been called on an emergency basis.
