Chris Pratt in The Saint Reboot

Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is in early talks to star in a movie reboot of long-running franchise The Saint.

When Pratt first gained fame as the highly likeable, but not exactly hard-bodied, Andy Dwyer on NBC sitcom. Pratt’s breakthrough movie role came in 2014, playing lead hero Peter ‘Star-Lord’ in Guardians of the Galaxy film. The following year, Pratt’s star power rocketed even further upward thanks to his leading heroic role as Owen Grady in Jurassic World. Outside. He’s continued to rack up wins in sequels Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and of course Avengers: Infinity War.

Pratt will presumably return for next year’s Avengers 4, and now Deadline reports that Pratt might be looking to add another franchise to his resume, as he’s in early talks with Paramount to star in a movie reboot of The Saint.

Stars in Netflix Movie Dhaka

Stranger Things star David Harbour is set to join Chris Hemsworth in Dhaka.

The Wrap further revealed that the movie is already filming, and Harbour is expected to report to the set soon.

Harbour has become one of the internet’s most popular actors due to his own online antics. He’s danced with penguins, and may next officiate a wedding in his full Hellboy costume. The aforementioned Hellboy reboot is the prime example of this, as he takes on the role made famous by Ron Perlman. He appears to be moving from dramatic work to more action-oriented roles, and is now set to team up with several specialists in this area for his next project.

Pop star Jay Chou in ‘xXx 4’

The Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou is set to star alongside Vin Diesel in the new action film xXx 4, as part of the xXx franchise. The pop star made his first appearance in a feature film as Seth Rogen’s side-kick in Green Hornet and more recently as Li in Now You See Me 2.

Diesel will return in the film as Xander Cage and Deepika Padukone is attached to the project and will reprise her role as Serena Unger from xXx: Return of Xander Cage. Chinese singer Roy Wang of TF boys is listed in the cast as well.

Crowley said of the cast, “We are looking to build a well-rounded international cast and introduce bold new characters that are sure to have longevity in the continued franchise.” Chou will also sing on the soundtrack of the film, as he did in other films he acted in like The Green Hornet and Now You See Me 2, as well as Kung Fu Panda, among others.
