LAHORE: The Punjab government on Sunday changed almost all the deputy commissioners, RPOs and DPOs including the Lahore CCPO who were appointed by the caretaker government of Dr Hasan Askari Rizvi, appointing its own team of field administrative and police officers.

The new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) included three women, one posted in Lahore. Only the Multan deputy commissioner was allowed to continue with his post. Lahore DIG operation was also changed and the DPOs were recalled to the Punjab Central Police Office (CPO).

Lahore Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Anwarul Haq was transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of the Chief Minister’s House. He was replaced by Ms Saleha Saeed, awaiting posting in the S&GAD, making her the first woman (PAS) officer ever to hold the prime post in the provincial metropolis.

Multan DC allowed to stay on post

Hafizabad DC Adnan Arshad Aulakh was transferred and posted as Home Department Additional Secretary vice Ms Maryam Khan. Mr Aulakh was replaced by ACE Director Naveed Shahzad Mirza.

Lahore Ring Road Authority Director (Estate Management) Muhammad Sohail Khawaja was transferred and posted as Jhelum DC against a vacant post. He was replaced by Attock DC Imran Qureshi.

Mr Imran Qureshi was replaced by Information Department Additional Secretary (Admin) Ishrat Ullah Khan Niazi.

Mianwali DC Zahid Iqbal Awan was transferred and posted as Faisalabad Director (Local Government). He was replaced by Shoaib Jadoon.

Chakwal DC Ghulam Saghir Shahid was transferred and posted as Special Education Deputy Secretary vice Arshad Manzoor. Mr Shahid was replaced by Abdul Sattar.

Sargodha DC Muzaffar Khan was transferred and posted as Information Department additional Secretary. He was replaced by Silwat Saeed.

Khushab DC Nadeem Abbas Bhangoo was transferred and posted as BoR Additional Secretary. He was replaced by Special Education Deputy Secretary Arshad Manzoor.

Sahiwal DC Zaman Wattoo was transferred and posted as Faisalabad Additional Commissioner (coordination). He was replaced by Special Secretary (Finance and Corporate Finance), Finance Department Sardar Saifullah Dogar.

Lodhran DC Saqib Ali Ateel was transferred and posted as Sahiwal Additional Commissioner (Coordination).

Chiniot ADC (Revenue) Rao Imtiaz Ahmad was transferred and posted as Lodhran DC vice Saqib Ali Ateel.

Bahawalpur DC Muhammad Ayub Khan was transferred and posted as Youth Affairs Department Additional Secretary. He was replaced by Chief Minister’s Personal Staff Officer Shozeb Saeed.

Muzaffargarh DC Kaiser Saleem was transferred and posted as Programme Officer, Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Programme under the Local Government Department. He was replaced by Dr Ehtisham Anwar.

Layyah DC Rafaqat Ali was transferred and posted as Additional Secretary (Admin) Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department. He was replaced by Chief Minister’s Deputy Secretary Babar Bashir.

Rajanpur DC Allah Ditta Warraich was transferred and posted as Transport Department Deputy Secretary. He was replaced by Energy Department Additional Secretary Altaf Baloch.

Chiniot DC Khizer Afzaal was transferred and posted as Energy Department Deputy Secretary. He was replaced by Aman Anwar Kidwai, currently at the disposal of the Punjab Revenue Authority.

Narowal DC Zeeshan Javaid was transferred and posted as Higher Education Department Additional Secretary vice Ahmad Kamal Maan, already transferred. He was replaced by Dr Waheed Asghar.

Okara DC Rizwan Nazir was transferred and posted as Food Department Deputy Secretary. He was replaced by Sahibzadi Wasima Umar.

Kasur DC Rana Arshad was transferred and directed to report to the S&GAD. He was replaced by Home Department Additional Secretary Maryam Khan.

Higher Education Department Additional Secretary Ahmad Kamal Maan was posted as Pakpattan DC.

POLICE OFFICERS: Lahore DIG Information Technology Zulfiqar Hameed was posted as Capital City Police Officer Lahore vice B.A. Nasir who was posted as Additional IGP, Logistics and Procurement, CPO, Punjab.

DIG Investigation Monitoring, Investigation Branch, Punjab Waqas Nazir was transferred and posted as DIG Operations, Capital city District, Lahore vice Shahzad Akbar.

DIG Welfare, CPO, Punjab Tariq Abbas Qureshi was transferred and posted as Gujranwala RPO vice Shahid Hanif.

Sheikhupura RPO Sohail Haibib Tajik was transferred and posted as Bahawalpur RPO vice Rana Faisal.
