LAHORE: The search committee formed by the Punjab Higher Education Department is holding interviews for short-listed candidates for the post of Information Technology University (ITU) vice chancellor from Saturday (today).

According to a source in the department, five candidates have been declared eligible out of 20 applicants. Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) Principal Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar and incumbent ITU VC Dr Umar Saif are among the short-listed candidates.The five-member search committee headed by Dr Amjad Saqib after interviewing the candidates will send a list of three top candidates to the chief minister for decision.
