KARACHI: The additional district and sessions judge of Larkana, Gul Zamir Solangi, who recently invited the ire of Supreme Court Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, has been nominated as a delegate to a seminar for Asian judges in China.

The Sindh High Court registrar through a letter dated July 2 informed his Supreme Court counterpart that the SHC chief justice had nominated Judge Gul Zamir Solangi to participate in the July 16-31 seminar for Asian judges to be held in China.

It was on June 23 that the CJP visited the Larkana district courts and admonished Judge Solangi during the court proceedings. The CJP also flung his mobile phone in a fit of anger.
