NOWSHERA: PML-N provincial president Eng Amir Muqam said here on Tuesday that the PTI government destroyed the beauty of Peshawar and turned the provincial metropolis into ruins.

Addressing a workers convention in Jalozai, he said that the nation saw the bad intention of PTI in the end of its tenure as bidding was held for appointment of caretaker chief minister of the province.

PML-N district president Sahibzada Mohammad Hamza Pervez, general secretary Maishatur Rehman , Sajid Gomrani, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, former MNA Siraj Mohammad Khan and other leaders of the party were also present on the occasion.

Mr Moqam said that PTI chief Imran Khan was not loyal to country and five years rule of his party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa brought destruction at all levels. He added that PTI destroyed the beauty of Peshawar and turned it into ruins.

He said Imran Khan had promised to uproot corruption in the province within 90 days but he gave free hand for corruption to his ministers. He said that the PTI chief was trying to befool people by announcing his 100-day plan. He said that people should ask Imran Khan about the success of his 90-day plan for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mr Muqam said that participation of workers in the convention in such a large number in the month Ramazan showed the popularity of PML-N. “The nation has shown confidence in the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif,” he said. He added that Nawaz Sharif was the only political leader, who made Pakistan atomic power.

The PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif rendered sacrifices for promotion and establishment of democracy in the country. He claimed that next prime minister of country would be Shahbaz Sharif and people would vote for PML-N in the upcoming general elections.

Mr Muqam said that Nowshera had become a stronghold of PML-N. He said that PML-N candidates would defeat the candidates of the opponent parties with a big margin in the upcoming polls.

He said that merger of Fata with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was an achievement of PML-N. “Now these areas would also get equal opportunities of development,” he added.
