LAHORE: A girl was hospitalised on Friday after a snake bit her in Gulshan-i-Iqbal Park’s snake house.

According to the police, Sehrish (12) with her parents was in the snake house of the park where park’s employee asked the girl to touch the snake, saying it would not harm her. When she touched it, the reptile bit her. Her condition was stated to be serious.

SUICIDE: A man was found hanged with a ceiling fan of his home in Sherakot here on Friday. The family members of Boota (35) alerted the police when they found him hanging.

Quoting the family, police said Boota was mentally challenged and handed over the body to the family after legal formalities.
