CHARSADDA: Three people were killed and another was injured in an exchange of fire between rival groups over a woman dispute in Shabqaddar area here on Sunday.
According to the police, two groups, who are stated to be close relatives, exchanged fire in Dheri Sikandar Khan village in the jurisdiction of Batgram police station. As a result of the fire, two persons identified as Ruhul Amin and daughter of Khan Alam were killed from one side, while Asif, a personnel of Frontier Reserve Police, was killed from the other side. A woman, wife of Asif, was injured in the incident.
The accused persons managed to escape.
The police started investigation after registering the FIR.
