LAHORE, Jan 18: The Lahore High Court, Multan Bench has issued a stay order against the club scrutiny which is to be conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in the Multan District on Thursday.

According to details, the PCB had imposed ad hoc on the Multan District Cricket Association last year for not holding two tournaments in a year. But later, the ad hoc committee also failed to hold the two tournaments. But even the PCB has issued the letter for the scrutiny of the cricket clubs in the district on Jan 9. But a resident of Multan Mohammad Ahsan Nawaz sought a stay order from the LHC against the scrutiny of the clubs.

It may be mentioned that earlier the LHC has also issued a stay order against the scrutiny of the clubs in the Faisalabad District and the case is pending with the court.

The PCB is facing a good number of cases in the court about the elections these days. The Board has also imposed ad hoc on FATA Region, due to which a seat of this region is laying vacant in the Board of Governors.
