HYDERABAD, May 4: The controller of examinations of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Wednesday announced names of candidates who secured positions in examinations of various institutes and departments. In bachelor’s of architecture, Ambar Nawaz, daughter of Shah Nawaz Memon, stood first and Fareha Yasmeen, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Arain, and Afsheen Sadaf, daughter of Waqar Ahmad Shaikh, got second and third positions respectively.

In bachelor’s of telecommunication engineering, Ashok Kumar, son of Dr Anchlanand Maheshwari, stood first, Saeeda Shabbir, daughter of Shabbir Hussain Arbab, stood second and Aijaz Akhtar, son of Abdul Hameed Memon, stood third.

In B.E electronics engineering, Mohammad Fahad, son of Tauseef Munir Shaikh, secured the first position, Attaur Rehman, son of Rehmatullah Malik, got the second position and Khakoo Mal, son of Kunbho Mal Harijan, obtained the third position.

EXAMS: The controller of examinations of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences has announced that bi-annual examinations, 2004, of the final professional MBBS (old course) will be held at the university campus in Jamshoro and the Chandka Medical College, Larkana, from May 12 to 20.
