KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Siyal on Monday asked the relevant authorities to prepare a database vis-a-vis the madressahs constructed on encroached government land.

“Details of all such madressahs which have been constructed on encroached land of the government should be compiled to ensure implementation [of] the code of conduct regarding construction of mosques and seminaries,” Mr Siyal told a meeting at his office.

Senior officials of the home and Auqaf departments, inspector general of police and other senior officials attended the meeting.
