KARACHI: Governor of Sindh Muhammad Zubair has said that the 2017 census is complete and the results will possibly be announced in July. “Correct census will contribute to the just distribution of resources, better facilities, regional progress and improvement in the life of the common man,” he said.
The governor expressed these views in a meeting held at Governor House on Monday to review the overall census process where Nadra DG (Sindh) Lt Col Ahmad Khattak was also present.

Census is of critical importance. It will change the political economy of this country. I hope Army will not let have a blot on their escutcheon and the results of this census will not cause any controversy in future.

I am quite sure this will change the political game in this country, where, by using fake identity cards politicians win elections. This happens everywhere in Pakistan but interior Sindh is a case study. I believe this census will help break the shackles of feudal rule in this province.
