JHANG: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Satiana village here on Friday morning to attend breakfast hosted by MNA Ghulam Bibi Bharwana at her residence.

Sources said the PML-N member from NA-88 was worried over election campaign launched by former federal minister and PML-N leader Sheikh Waqas Akram in her consistency.

The MNA met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore last week to convey her concerns about the violation the party discipline.

Sources said by inviting the party head of the province and chief minister to her residence, she has succeeded in showing that the party leadership was still with her and she would be the PML-N ticket holder for NA-88 during the 2018 election.

The chief minister reached Satiana by a helicopter.

MPA Muhammad Khan Baloch and others complained about the poor interest of DC Mudassar Riaz Malik and DPO Humayun Masood in public service matters. The CM reportedly inquired about the public complaints.
