A suspected US drone strike has reportedly targeted a compound in Afghanistan, killing three suspected terrorists of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), a government official in Fata said on Wednesday.

A political administration official in Miranshah, Kamran Afridi, said that the strike took place on Wednesday just across the Pak-Afghan border in the village of Gurowek in Khost province.

A Taliban commander who identified himself as Abdullah Waziristani also confirmed the attack, saying the targeted compound belonged to a local Taliban commander.

There was no immediate confirmation from inside Khost province.
