DADU: Dadu police on Monday claimed to have arrested a dacoit, Arbab Janwari, wanted in 14 cases of heinous crimes registered against him at various police stations of the district over the last 10 years.
He was forced to surrender after an encounter with a police party at the Gozo link road, some eight kilometres from Khairpur Nathan Shah town, SSP Shabbir Sethar told local reporters. He said Janwari sustained bullet wounds in the encounter and a pistol, along with 20 live rounds, was seized from him.
