KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari visited the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre to see his close aide Dr Asim Hussain, who is under treatment at the hospital, according to sources in the party and the hospital.

They said that the former president accompanied by senior leaders of the PPP spent half an hour with Dr Hussain and wished him well.

This was Mr Zardari’s first engagement outside Bilawal House since his return to the country on Thursday hours after the suicide attack on the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan.
