The following information is based on documents submitted to the Supreme Court by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's legal counsel for the Panamagate hearing. The petition filed by the PM's legal counsel shows how the Sharif family gifted each other large sums of money and land. Here are some highlights.

Nawaz Sharif in an income tax return filed in 2012 declared that he received more than 684 kanals of land from his mother as a gift.

In another income tax return filed in 2011, the PM declares ownership of a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Mercedes Benz ─ among others, both gifted to him. It is unclear, however, who the gifts are from.

In a Wealth Reconciliation Statement filed by the PM in 2011, Nawaz states that he has received Rs129,836,905 from his son. It is not specified which son gave him the gift.

Additionally, the statement shows the PM gave his daughter Maryam Nawaz and his son Hussain Nawaz gifts of Rs31,700,000 and Rs19,459,440 respectively.

Although Kulsoom Nawaz, the premier's wife, did not give her family members gifts of money, she donated a sum of Rs1,000,000 to the family's trust, Sharif Trust, according to a Wealth Reconciliation Statement as on June 30, 2011.
