MULTAN, Nov 30: The Pakistan People’s Party celebrated its foundation day here on Sunday.

At a ceremony held in this connection, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the ideology of PPP’s founding chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto still existed in the minds of people, and the present socio-political and economic mess could be done away with only the political philosophy of Mr Bhutto.

He said it was the ideological base of the party that prevented it from striking any deal with the forces of oppression.

He urged the MMA leadership to take a firm stand on the Legal Framework Order.

He denied that his party or its leadership-in-exile was behind the idea of power sharing between people and the army.
