KOHAT: The police on Saturday arrested a principal of a private school for hiding a case of molestation of a minor boy.

The Saddar police said that an eight-year-old student of a private school at Hayat Shaheed Colony was allegedly molested by a tenth class student of the same school. They said that the victim complained to the principal, Sarfraz, and a female teacher about the incident, but instead of taking action they told him to keep his mouth shut.

The police said that when condition of the victim deteriorated he was taken to the Women and Children Hospital by the staff.

However, the boy told his father about the incident who took him to the Saddar police station and after medical checkup a case was registered against the accused student, and the principal and female teacher for covering up the issue.

The police have arrested the principal of the school.
