GWADAR: Shay Dad Karim, a spiritual leader with devotees in Makran and Iranian Balochistan, died along with a friend in a traffic accident on Saturday.

Levies officials said Mr Karim was going to Turbat from Gwadar along with three people when their vehicle overturned near Dasht Beery Chah area.

He and his friend died and his two companions were injured.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to the District Hospital Turbat.

The condition of the injured was reported to be serious.

Hundreds of his devotees rushed to the hospital soon after receiving information about the accident.
