So Pakistani actors working in Bollywood is not cultural invasion, but Indian content being shown in Pakistan is? Many TV hosts and anchors cry foul to see Indians heroines and heroes dominating the advertisements in Pak. And offcourse Bollywood is blamed for being a conspiracy to alter their culture

So, a Pakistani actor in a A level Indian movie, that too under Karan Johar !! Very surprising to see how the Indian audience have accepted him and wants to see more of him (unlike Veena Malik or any others !!).. hopefully all goes well & the film works out !! Although, if he wants to stay for the long run, he's gonna have to improve on his acting !! Keeping up with the others wont be easy !! Hopefully Karan uses him as an actor than just a model in the movie !!

Hope Indian audience also accept Pakistani players in their IPL even knowing Pakistan security situation is a downside to the Cricket future so far but not for long as Pakistan is making very good progress demolishing terrorists mainly forign funded. Imran Khan is the only intelligent honest hope. This will be our bad past.

Hope Fawad Khan isn't treated like Waseem Akram, whom Pakistani fans lambast for the time he spents in India. If Fawad's good, which he has proved he is, Indians will continue to embrace him. Trust he continues to receive support from his home fans too.

Today Pakistani filmstars and musicians are making a beeline for Bollywood and Pakistani cricketers are clamouring to open the IPL door. The day is not far when ordinary Pakistanis will line up at the Indian embassy in Islamabad to get visas to work or study in India.

@johny Why are you comparing Fawad Khan with Veena Malik? LOL! Fawaad Khan's TV serials are popular in India and he is seen as a serious actor. Veena Malik on the other hand is seen as a nautanki. She is comparable to Rakhi Sawant in India.

@Rahul we here in Pakistan have been studying two nation theory--and have been believing it hook, line, and sinker. But by reading your comments on any thing about, Pakistan, it made me think of believing that we both are actually one nation. You know why, because whenever, we both hear anything good about each other or see some cooperation in some areas, it itches us badly. I don't know when the people of subcontinent will come out of their pseudo-pride and start thinking, commenting, and behaving sensibly.

@jakoji I think this is a part of the propaganda that is spread about India in Pakistan. India has a very diverse gene pool with a variety of races and cultures in it. No, Pakistanis are not a different race and Yes, India has a lot of fair skinned people too. That being said however, I think obsession with being fair is common to all non-caucasian races....quite unfortunate really.

India is just being India. Welcoming, open and appreciative to all kinds of artists. India usually doesnt discriminate artists based on ethnicity, religion and nationality. People of all nationalities work in bollywood. Anyone who wants to become an "Indian" is welcome. But Pakistani media is reading this too wrong. They are using phrases like "Domination of Pakistani artists", "Ruling bollywood"...etc. LOL...we can only laugh on this attitude. Anyone who came to India, be it Mughals ( Turko-mongols) or Persians or Europeans ( Anglo-Indians), became Indians in spirit and culture. We have a certain cultural depth that is unparalleled in the entire world. We dont get influenced by anyone, but rather people get influenced by us and become part of us. Thats exactly why you across the border love our movies and want to become a part of it. If Fawad, Marwa, mahira...etc want to become Indian artists....more than welcome.
