Now that’s what you call taking the right decision on the spur of the moment. Pakistani actor Imran Abbas is these days busy playing the lead character in critically acclaimed Indian director Muzzafar Ali’s much-awaited film Jaanisaar.

Last week, on the sets of the film, a friend of Imran A introduced him to someone who runs an NGO that works for the betterment of cancer patients. Moved by the effort, Imran A immediately whipped out his cheque book from his pocket and signed the organisation a cheque worth Rs0.4 million. The gesture has further endeared the actor to his Indian admirers. Intelligent, nay compassionate, man!
