LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Monday decided to proceed ex parte (one-sided) against Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri, his two sons and five others for not joining the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Model Town incident.

The court also directed the police to publish the names of proclaimed offenders and produce them in the court on the next hearing, Feb 25.

The JIT had filed a petition submitting that they raided different places to arrest Dr Qadri, his sons and five others but could not find them.

The court directed the police to make public the names of the proclaimed offenders and produce them in the court.

The court also issued perpetual warrants for the suspects for not appearing in the court.
