QUETTA: Commander of Southern Command Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua hosted a luncheon for the children and the management of SOS Village Quetta.

A spokesperson for Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday that the luncheon was hosted at the Orchard House in Quetta Cantonment, the official residence of the commander of southern command.

Talking to children, Lt Gen Janjua said that people all over the country and the Pakistan Army loved the children of SOS Village. “I am so much happy to see children of SOS Village as guests at my house,” he said.

Speaking to people in the management of the SOS Village, he said these children were future of the country. He advised them to ensure quality education of the children besides caring them properly. He said the army would provide assistance to SOS Village.

On the occasion, he annou­nced a package, including food and medicines, for the SOS Village. Lt Gen Janjua’s wife distributed prizes among the children.
