KARACHI: A 27-year-old man who was undergoing treatment at a private hospital died of the Congo virus in Karachi.
The death of the Azizabad resident was Karachi's first recorded fatality resulting from the virus during the current year.
One person had also died of the deadly virus in 2013.
Three people had died of the Congo virus in Zhob last week and some more were reportedly under treatment in the district hospital.
