It is due to India/Amwrica/Israel lobby. Shame on OIC that there is no response from them. Pakistan should lead the Muslim countries in responding to this allegation against Ajmal. The whole world is against Muslims and Ajmal has been targeted only because of his faith. Bring Imran khan into power, he will get Ajmal cleared within 90 days. Perhaps, he should include this as one of the agenda in his long march.

Not surprising really. Check out who the umpires and tv umpire were? Chris Broad publicly claimed in UK that the Ajmal,is a chucker following his haul,of wickets. The officials in this match were Messers Gould and Illingworth! Where do they come from?

Really not surprised to read hatred comments from our neighbor cricket followers. It showed how desparately they are following pakistan news and particularly cricket. we can understand that those fans are hungry of quality cricket which their very own team fail to deliver consistently.

Yes, the likes of Murali, Ajmal, Harbhajan and almost every West Indian spinner have been hurting the aesthetics of bowling with virtual impunity. Graeme Swann was the last pure off spinner to grace the sport. These pretenders, on the other hand, have exploited the divisive politics of international competition to advance their careers. Part of the problem is that there is no fool-proof standard to judge an action. Straightening of the arm is a very crude measure, which the bowlers can clearly work around during bio-mechanical tests. To a long-time viewer there is often very little improvement before and after remedial work. In my view Shoaib Akhtar's action got progressively suspicious over time, as acknowledged by experts like Michael Holding, but the ICC looked on. Ajmal's problem is compounded by his insistence on bowling the 'doosra' which is slowly becoming the bane of purists. Until new quantification measures come close to reflecting the true viewing experience, ICC should look for alternative solutions such as constituting a panel of experts. This should comprise past legends with impeccable actions whose judgement then becomes the sole criteria for pass or fail. Cricket is a visual sport and this fact should be kept paramount in all rule changes.

He should be summarily banned from bowling. He will pass the ICC test just like before and than continue bowling the suspect ball once now and than to plant doubt in batsman's mind and remember it takes only one ball to get out !!! Who will stop him ? Umpires will refer him again to ICC he will again clear. If one is reported for suspect bowling action even after ICC clears action, it means the players knows how to cheat ICC scrutiny.

@Tariqmaab there was no big3 in 2009 when he was first reported. Why he always wear full sleeves while bowling? Because he wants to hide something.

@Rizwan You don't know cricket. Malinga action is called pi( maths symbol) action, which of course does not take a full circle of arm but in course of bowling it never bends. Because of this he never came under radar.

I am sure he is bowling legally, this is totally unacceptable who says he is bowling illegal. Saeed ajwal is world class with no match where world class batsmans struggle to play against him. that is why some cricker bodies dont like him because they are jealous.

Here we go again, surely there should be a penalty against the people reporting such stars all the time - particularly considering the timing of it. Ajmal is a senior player but these things are morale breaking tactics. On another note, I am highly critical of the way Misbah is using the bowlers. He took the mickey out of M.Irfan and used Ajmal for 59.1 overs in the first innings of Sri lanka - If this man gets injured too, it will be due to Misbahs incompetence. I dont think anyone clearly understands or realizes the amount of pressure they are putting on Ajmal and in doing so, a tired player with nearly tired to death shoulder muscles may throw an odd few deliveries in which their arm flexes more than it should. This is not to say that Ajmal is deliberately bowling howlers, but in fact his body simply cannot cope with any more pressure. Someone has top speak sense to Misbah and Pakistani Coaches.

There were great spinners in Pakistan like Abdul Qadir,Mustaq Ahmed and Iqbal Qasim. They were never reported for their bowling action and there were never any complaints against them. Why didn't people accuse India,America,Israel etc. for not raising an issue against them,why now. Whenever a spinner bowls doosra,this problem has arisen. So,everyone including Muralidharan and Harbhajan Singh had to face the music.

Im a big fan of saeed ajmal but i have to say some of his doosras in the last test match were illegal , it was a slow wicket so he was trying to chuck them in .. The umpires have done the right thing

@Badri Srinivas Malinga's action is round arm, its not throwing. But I would say Muralitharan had suspected action.
