Honestly, I started reading this news with a lot of cynicism. But when I read through, I have developed a sympathy for the cause of the band Laal. I was totally unaware of the existence of such a Pakistani band. I do hope their pure devotion to poetry of a certain ideology is not hijacked by the likes of Shahbaz Sharif (who ironically and funnily recited poetry of Habib Jalib in his public meetings but has connections with who knows how many shady characters), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari (who has a lot of clean up job to do in his own party before he can talk about left leanings of PPP), or Imran Khan (who has a few pop singers in his following and claims to be against the status quo but has tons of sympathies for militants). Keep it up Laal. Don't fall into the trap of party politics and controversies. I will surely listen to some of your stuff. Congratulations to Taimur and family. By the way, your daughter is not bewildered by what we have made of this world but is disturbed by the light getting into her eyes that she was not used and other purely physiological stuff. I hope she becomes a good human being when she grows up.
