PESHAWAR: An explosion took place on Peshawar's Kohat Road in front of the residence of a local leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday.

The Bhana Mari police said no loss of life was reported in the explosion but the front gate of Misbahudin’s house in Peshawar’s Amin Colony had been damaged.

Moreover, rescue teams were dispatched to the site of the blast that took place near Technical College.

Misbahudin had contested election on a PPP ticket from NA-4.
