ISLAMABAD: PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has asked the party leadership to reach out to internally displaced people (IDPs) in KP and provide help to them.

In a statement issued here on Monday, Mr Zardari said that the IDPs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were “our heroes and heroines who are undergoing untold suffering and misery in the nation’s drive against terrorists and they must not be left alone”.

Senator Farhatullah Babar, spokesperson for Mr Zardari, said that Mr Zardari had directed the PPP’s provincial president to draw up a workable plan for rehabilitation of IDPs in the province.
