SANGHAR: March 20 has been announced as holiday across district Sanghar on accounrt of the 71st death anniversary of Pir Syed Sibghatullah Shah Shaheed known as Sooriah Badshah.

According to a notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Sikandar Ali Khushik on Wednesday, all government offices, autonomous bodies and semi autonomous bodies working under the administrative control of the government of Sindh will remain closed.

However, it will not apply to the officials of revenue, health and livestock departments and those who are engaged in the drought relief activities in Achro Thar.

A programme to commemorate the death anniversary of Sooriah Badshah will be held in the auditorium of the press club Sanghar by the Hur Historical society.
