LANDI KOTAL: Gunman killed a member of Bar Qambar Khel Qaumi Sareshtha in Bara on Wednesday.
Sources said an unidentified man secretly holding a pistol fired at Haji Darya Khan from a close range after shaking hands with him. He was critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
The security forces later cordoned off the area and arrested at least 40 suspects during a search operation in the surrounding localities. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
