Officials said that acting on a tip-off police carried out a raid in Ittehad Town’s Shanti Nagar and during an exchange of fire two suspects were killed.

They were identified as Baday Mehsud and Arshad. The dead men were alleged members of the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, said SSP-West Irfan Baloch.

He said Baday Mehsud was also involved in the killing of Kazim Ali Shah, Imambargah caretaker, and his daughter in Surjani Town recently.
