SWABI, May 1 A meeting of the district judiciary chaired by the Swabi District and Sessions Judge, Shehbar Khan, here resolved to make efforts for early disposal of cases especially related to women and juveniles

The meeting was held in accordance with the directives issued by the Peshawar High Court Chief Justice, Tariq Pervez Khan, in a recent meeting of the district and sessions judges in the province.

The meeting held on Thursday was attended by additional district and sessions judges; Rajjab Ali Khan, Mohammad Zubair Khan, Fazal Sattar and Mohammad Asif Khan, and civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates. Senior advocates and representatives of lawyers also attended the meeting.

The participants resolved to make combine efforts for provision of speedy and cheap justice to the litigants.

They added that they would make all out efforts for early disposal of cases of under-trial prisoners, especially women and children.
