ISLAMABAD/SIALKOT Pakistan on Friday protested before India over indiscriminate firing by Indian border security forces on Pakistani check points at Bajwat sector, warning India to mend its ways. 

The spokesman for Pakistan Rangers revealed this while talking to Online on Friday. 

He said that the Indian border security forces opened indiscriminate fire on Thursday night at 930 pm on the Pakistani check post at the Bajwat sector of Sialkot working boundary, after which the Chenab Rangers retaliated with full force, compelling the Indian forces to stop.

Soon after the incident, the Pakistan called a flag meeting of Pakistan and Indias sector commanders during which Pakistan lodged a strong protest, reminding India that this was the third violation of cease fire agreement by Indian forces at the Bajwat sector, said the spokesman.

During the meeting, Pakistan warned that if similar attacks occur in the future, India would receive a befitting response. The spokesman later added that no personnel of Chenab Rangers were injured in Thursday night's incident. -Online
