Body formed to revive film industry

ISLAMABAD, Sept 23 The Senate standing committee on culture has constituted a committee for the revival of Pakistans film industry which has been struggling for its survival for the last a few years.

The committee would be headed by Chairman Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) Barrister Malik Shahnawaz Noon while its members will include senior film producers Nadeem Mandiwala, Sajad Gul, actress/producer Samina Pirzada, producer Sohail Khan, senior actor Mustafa Quraishi, Sangeeta, Syed Noor, Nisho and two representatives from the ministry of culture. —Staff Reporter
