QUETTA Baloch Republican Party leader Dr. Hakim Lehri has said that federal advisor Rehman Malik has distorted the factual position on the missing persons in Balochistan and expressed dissatisfaction over the committee formed by the provincial government pertained to the resolution of the Balochistan issue.

Speaking at a press conference at the press club on Thursday he stated that the PPP, PML-N and the electronic media were least interested in the resolution of the Balochistan issue.

Dr. Lehri asserted that federal advisor Rehman Malik and provincial government has presented fake list regarding the missing persons in Balochistan and maintained that if the government was sincere to resolve the missing persons issue than they should trace the number of the missing persons as prescribed in the BRP list.

He announced the party call for a shutter down strike in the province on March 20 and protest rallies would be organized in Balochistan on March 17 to condemn the arrests and raids on the houses of the party members and sympathizers.

He alleged that the security forces have killed three Bugti tribesmen wherein the dead bodies of aforementioned persons were thrown in Chaman and Pishin areas adding that state atrocities could not force the party leadership to abandon the struggle against the oppressors.

BRP leader vowed that the party led by militant leader Nawabzada Bramdagh Bugti would continue the struggle for achievement of national rights to protect the coasts and resources of Balochistan.
