MIRAMSHAH, April 16 US drones fired missiles at a car and a residential compound in Toolkhel village of North Waziristan on Friday, killing six militants.

According to witnesses there were eight drones in the air and they fired six missiles. The compound and one of the cars parked near it were hit.

Villagers said that another car which had escaped the attack fled the area but the drones chased it for about 15 minutes.

They said that some unidentified people had taken away the bodies of the militants to some other place.

Agencies add A security official and a local administration official confirmed the drone attack and the death toll.

“Missiles hit a car carrying militants and as soon as other people rushed into help, more missiles were fired by drones,” the official said. “The identity of the militants was not immediately clear.”
