SUKKUR: Lightning kills three

SUKKUR, Feb 20: Three persons were killed after being stricken by lightning and two in a roof collapse incident in different areas of Daharki on Tuesday night.

Irshad Leghari and Mohammed Hashim were killed when the roof of a house collapsed on them due to heavy rain in the Chhutto Leghari village.

Three persons were killed and two injured when lightning struck them in the desert area some 25km off Daharki.

Names of the deceased persons could not be ascertained.

POWER SHUTDOWN: Hesco has announced power supply from 11kv New Bunder Road Feeder will remain suspended on Feb 21 from 9am to 12:10pm.
