Day one of the fashion extravaganza kicked off with renowned designer Maheen Khan followed by DeepaknFahad (DnF), Zari Faisal, Orient, Aamir Baig, Mona Imran and Ayesha Hasan. After the break, the show resumed with Ahsan Nazir leading the proceedings, followed by Emraan Rajput, Aamna Aqeel, Faiza Saqlain and Baani D respectively.

Pakistan Fashion Council presented Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW 5), 2013 – a platform that endeavors to promote Pakistan’s seasoned and new aspiring fashion talent both on the domestic and international platform.

The show was a glittering affair with inspiration from old oil paintings to Sindhi folktale ‘Marvi’, featuring embroideries layered with embellishments along with elegant and timeless pieces meticulously crafted for the modern and stylish Pakistani fashionistas.–(Photos by Reuters and Faisal Farooqui at Dragonfly.)
