ABBOTTABAD, April 3: A man killed his daughter and her alleged paramour in Lora village of Havelian on Wednesday.

Sources said the accused came to the Lora police station and stated he had killed his daughter and her friend when he found them together in the cattle pen in the house. The police registered the case and started investigation.

Meanwhile, the Abbottabad police declared 22 poling stations as most sensitive and 79 sensitive in a report submitted to the district administration and the election commission. Police sources said total 197 polling stations would be established in Cantt circle for which a security plan had been prepared.

The police have increased patrolling in the city and deployed additional personnel around the election offices of the candidates, the general bus stand and other spots to keep vigilant eye on the movement of suspected people and Afg-han refugees.—Correspondent
