THE All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) has thanked Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira for resolving the issue of Centralised Media Policy to the satisfaction of the Society and clear the outstanding dues on account of federal government’s advertisements for the 2008-2012 period.

According to a press release, a delegation of the APNS apprised the minister and officials of the Ministry of Information of reservations over the Centralised Media Policy and called for clearing the arrears before the expiry of the term of the present government.

The minister, according to the press release, agreed to resolve the issue and pay the outstanding dues.
