ISLAMABAD, Feb 21: Three matches were decided at the PTF Tennis Complex on the final day of the first leg of NBP Junior U-18 Ranking Tennis series here on Thursday.

Mohammad Mudasir won the championship’s U-18 event triumphing in all matches played on round robin basis.

Mohammad Muzammil secured the runner-up position winning four matches and losing one.

Mohammad Mudasir and Ziad Mujahid clinched the doubles crown with Kashan-ul-Haq and Hasnain Mahmood being runners-up.

It is pertinent to mention that six top players of the country participated in the championship which offered a cash prize of Rs25,000 to all participants.

Results:

Singles: Mohammad Mudasir bt Abdal Haider 6-0, 6-0; Kashan-ul-Haq bt Hasnain Mehmood 6-1, 6-1.

Doubles: Mohammad Mudasir and Ziad Mujahid bt Mohammad Muzammil and Abdal Haider 7-5, 4-6, (10-2).
