8 POs arrested

TAXILA, Dec 27: Taxila police after raiding various cities, arrested eight proclaimed offenders (PO), including a female, wanted in different cases.

The police also recovered arms which were used by criminals in numerous crimes.

Talking to newsmen, Sub divisional Police officer Taxila circle Raja Taifour Akhter said that a special team led by inspector Mohammad Khan was formed to trace criminals declared POs.

He said that the team arrested the woman PO after raiding her hideout in district Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Other hideouts were also raided in KPK and Punjab.—Correspondent
