PESHAWAR, Nov 12: The Peshawar police claimed arresting 392 suspects in parts of the district during raids and random checking on Sunday and Monday.
A police spokesman said 196 of them had been arrested under section 188 of PPC for pillion riding and 37 Afghan nationals for failure to produce valid documents about their stay in Pakistan.
The spokesman added 159 were arrested during raids on different locations, while arms and ammunition had also been recovered from their possession. —Bureau Report
