KARACHI: One body was found in Karachi’s Orangi Town locality while the total number of those killed in the last 24 hours in the city climbed 14, DawnNews reported on Monday.

A body, bearing marks of torture, was found in Orangi Town’s Iqbal Market area. The deceased had been abducted, subjected to torture and then shot dead.

Moreover, the death toll in the last 24 hours in the city had climbed to 14.

On the other hand, the funeral prayers of victims of yesterday’s killings, a father and his two sons, would take place on Monday after Zuhr prayers at the Muhammadi mosque and imambargah in Orangi Town.

Another deceased, Mukhtar Hussain’s funeral prayers would also be held after Zuhr prayers at Masjid Shah Najaf in Karachi’s Martin Quarters.

Furthermore, four people were arrested by law enforcement personnel in the city’s Manghopir area’s Kunwari Colony.

Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the arrested individuals, sources told DawnNews.
