KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain said that the judiciary and parliament should accept each other.

Speaking via telephone in a programme of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation, Hussain urged all political parties to sit together on the current situation of Pakistan.

He said that there was a grave danger of the country being divided into pieces due to the current political situation.

Altaf Hussain also said that Pakistan was going through a particularly difficult period in its history.

The MQM chief, when speaking about Karachi, said that the city was being held hostage at the hands of the extortion mafia.

He demanded to know as to why the governor and chief minister of Sindh are silent over this issue.
