Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf stated that the enhance fleet would help PSO save up to US$50 million every year.

KARACHI: Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) and Pakistan State Oil (PSO) Thursday signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which they will purchase two tankers for import of oil in the country.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf who was special guest at MoU signing ceremony said with addition of two oil tankers in the fleet, performance of PNSC would increase manifold.

He said enhanced fleet would not only improve import of oil but also help save at least US$50 million.

Sindh Governor Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Ports & Shipping Babar Khan Ghauri and Information Minister Qamar Zaman Qaira were also present at the ceremony.
